Ms. Jaycel “Yeng” C. Hurley, a Master in Population Studies (MPoPs) student, bagged the UPPI Alumni Book Grant for the second semester of academic year (AY) 2015-2016.
Ms. Klarriness Tanalgo, a Master in Population Studies (MPoPs) student, bagged the UPPI Alumni Book Grant for the first semester of academic year (AY) 2015-2016.
Following the announcement of the availability of the Alumni Academic Excellence Award for top UPPI Student, Dr. Maria Midea Kabamalan, UPPI Director, announced the first recipient as Mr. Joshua Mariano.
Ms. Ma. Rowena Campos, a second year Masters in Population Studies (MPoPs) student, bagged the UPPI Alumni Academic Excellence Award for the second semester of academic year (AY) 2014-2015.
Through the generosity of two UPPI alumni, the UPPI Alumni Academic Excellence Award is established under the Demographic Research and Development Foundation, Inc. The grant is meant to assist graduate students of UPPI (in both M.A. Demography and Master in Population Studies) in purchasing relevant materials for their studies. The Grant is for US $100 and will initially be for the academic period 2014-2017 (or for six (6) semesters). The Grant will commence in the first semester of Academic Year 2014-2015.
