Dr. Chamchan of IPSR Visits UPPI Ahead of MPOPS Quality Review
Dr. Chalermpol Chamchan, Associate Professor of the Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University, Thailand, visited the Institute on September 14, 2026. Dr. Chamchan will serve as one of the External Quality Reviewers (EQR) for the Master of Population Studies (MPOPS) program in October 2026. UPPI Director Maria Paz N. Marquez, QA officer Prof. Maria Midea M. Kabamalan and the rest of the UPPI faculty warmly welcomed Dr. Chamchan during his brief visit.

The Institute is preparing for the upcoming site visit as part of the MPOPS External Quality Review. As with other degree-granting units in the university, this quality assurance efforts ensures that the program aligns with the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework.
