Dr. Sabine Henry' Lecture Schedules
Dr. Sabine Henry, professor of geography at the University of Namur in Belgium conducted three public lectures at the University of the Philippines Population Institute (UPPI) from the last week of October through November 2016.
Dr. Henry’s first lecture conducted on October 27 was on the “Benefits of International Migration on Origin Countries”. The second was on the “Ecological Services and Measures of Biodiversity". Dr. Henry’s final lecture undertaken on November 3 dealt with “Climate and Health”.
All lectures were held at the UPPI Seminar Room (PH 1309/1311) and open to the public.
The lectures are part of the exchange program between the University of Namur and the University of the Philippines under the Erasmus Mundus programme. Currently, two master’s students from the UPPI are taking courses in Namur.
