Ms. Gloren R. Hinlo of the Commission on Population finished her master’s program at the UP Population Institute (UPPI) this second semester of AY 2019-2020. She joined other graduates of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy, University of the Philippines Diliman in the college’s Recognition Ceremony held in the University Theatre on June 29, 2019.

Ms. Hinlo took up Master in Population Studies (MPoPS). Her pre-print paper entitled Leisure Activities and Self-Assessed Health Status of Filipino Older Persons “examined the association of leisure activities and self-assessed health
status of Filipino older persons controlling for age, sex and educational attainment using the 2007 Philippine Study on Aging, a nationally representative survey of older persons aged 60 and above.”
Josefina N. Natividad, Sc.D., former UPPI Director, is Hinlo’s pre-print paper adviser.
