Atty. Felipe Deocampo
The UP Population Institute has a new bar passer to be proud of, adding to its growing roster of alumni who transitioned to a career in law.
Atty. Felipe Deocampo, Master of Demography (MADEM) graduate in 2001, was one of the 3,747 or 59 percent of total bar takers who successfully made it through the examinations held in November 2016.
He took up Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Eastern Philippines in Catarman, Northern Samar. While doing his master’s degree and after graduation at the UPPI, Atty. Deocampo engaged in several research undertakings including the Young Adult Fertility & Sexuality (YAFS) Survey in 2002 and 2013 where he worked on field and wrote research outputs. He was also Instructor at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and from August 2015 to March 2016, designated as Assistant Vice-President for Academic Affairs in the said university.
Atty. Deocampo took up law at the Adamson University. After graduation, he was immediately promoted to the rank of Associate Professor III at the PLM.
